Lala supervises Dad and Mom building the chicken coop!

It was a bright morning, and the backyard buzzed with excitement. Dad had bought materials to build a new chicken coop, and Mom was ready to help. But Lala, full of energy and curiosity, declared herself the supervisor.

“Wait! I need to check everything!” Lala said, hopping onto a small stool to get a better view. She wore her little cap tilted sideways, giving her the perfect “chief inspector” look.

Dad laughed. “Alright, Supervisor Lala. What’s first on the checklist?”

Lala waved her tiny clipboard (a piece of cardboard she had drawn lines on) and inspected the wooden planks. “Make sure they are strong and straight! Chickens need a safe home,” she ordered firmly.

Mom carefully measured the boards while Dad hammered nails into place. Lala paced back and forth, occasionally pointing at a piece that seemed slightly crooked. “No, no! Fix it! The chickens can’t live like that,” she insisted, crossing her arms with determination.

At one point, Dad pretended to misunderstand and playfully tried to ignore her. Lala squinted, wagged a finger, and shouted, “I’m watching you, Dad!” Both Mom and Dad laughed and quickly corrected their work.

After a few hours of teamwork, the coop was finally ready. Lala inspected it thoroughly, peering inside every nook and cranny. “Perfect! Safe, sturdy, and spacious,” she declared proudly.

The first chickens were brought over, clucking happily as they explored their new home. Lala hopped up, clapping her hands. “Good job, team! We did it!”

Mom and Dad looked at each other, smiling. “We couldn’t have done it without our amazing supervisor,” Dad said.

Lala beamed, feeling proud. That day, she learned that leadership didn’t always require age—it only required heart, attention, and a little playful determination.
