One sunny afternoon, Lala was playing quietly in the living room when she noticed Dad acting differently. He was carrying a small bouquet of flowers and tiptoeing toward Mom, who was busy arranging fruit on the table. Curiosity sparked in Lala’s eyes.
“What’s Dad doing?” she whispered to herself, hiding behind the sofa.
As Dad approached Mom, he gently held her hands and smiled warmly. “I just wanted to tell you how much I love you,” he said softly. Lala’s jaw dropped. She had never seen Dad show his feelings like this in front of her!
Mom blushed and laughed, her cheeks turning a delicate shade of pink. “Oh, you always know how to make me smile,” she replied, hugging him gently.
Lala couldn’t believe her eyes. Dad, who usually teased her and helped with chores, was suddenly a romantic! She peeked around the corner and whispered to herself, “Wow… Dad really loves Mom!”
She watched as Dad handed Mom the flowers. “For you, just because,” he said. Mom held them close, inhaling the sweet scent, and their smiles lit up the whole room. Lala felt her little heart fill with warmth and joy.
Unable to contain her excitement, she ran to them, throwing her arms around both Mom and Dad. “I knew you two loved each other, but seeing it like this… it’s amazing!”
Dad laughed and lifted her gently. “And we love you too, Lala. Always.”
That day, Lala realized something wonderful: love between parents was not just about big gestures—it was in the small, special moments, and seeing it firsthand made her heart feel full of happiness.
