It was a rainy afternoon, and Lala sat on the sofa pretending to be an important guest visiting a grand restaurant. She draped a little towel over her shoulders like a cape and crossed her legs proudly. Spotting her playful act, Dad decided to join in.
“Welcome, honored guest,” Dad said with a bow, holding a tray. “Please, take your seat. Today you will be served with the utmost care.”
Lala giggled, clapping her hands. “Yes, waiter! I want the best service.”
Dad hurried to the kitchen, returning with a plate of neatly sliced fruit. He placed it in front of her with flair. “Your appetizer, my lady—fresh apples and bananas, just for you.” Lala took a bite and nodded seriously, pretending to be a food critic. “Hmm, delicious. Five stars!”
Next, Dad brought out a warm bowl of soup. He carefully placed a napkin on Lala’s lap and gently spoon-fed her, making her laugh. “Wow, this service really is special!” she said.
For the final touch, Dad prepared her favorite orange juice in a fancy glass with a straw. “Your drink, princess guest,” he announced. Lala sipped it with delight, leaning back like royalty.
Mom peeked into the room and chuckled. “Looks like our house has turned into a five-star restaurant.”
By the end of the meal, Lala leaned over to hug Dad. “You’re the best waiter and the best Dad ever!” she whispered. Dad kissed her cheek and smiled. “And you, Lala, will always be my most special guest.”
That rainy afternoon became a memory filled with laughter, imagination, and love—proof that sometimes the best service comes from the heart.
