One lazy afternoon, Lala sat in front of the mirror, tugging at her long, messy hair. With a pout, she turned to Mom. “Moooom… my hair is too long! It’s itchy! Please cut it!”
Mom chuckled. “But Lala, we just trimmed it last month.”
“Nooo!” Lala whined dramatically, flopping onto the couch like it was the end of the world. “If you don’t cut it, I’ll look like a lion!” She even made a silly roar, which made Mom laugh even more.
Finally, Mom gave in. “Alright, alright. Sit still, and I’ll give you a little haircut.”
Lala perked up immediately, hopping onto a chair like an excited customer at a salon. “And don’t forget the spa treatment!” she added with a cheeky grin.
Mom grabbed her scissors and a comb, carefully snipping the ends of Lala’s hair while Lala pretended to be a diva. “Oh yes, just a little shorter here, stylist!” she giggled.
When the haircut was done, Mom wrapped a towel around Lala’s shoulders and started a mini beauty spa routine. She massaged her scalp gently, washed her hair with fragrant shampoo, and even placed cucumber slices on Lala’s eyes.
Lala couldn’t stop laughing. “Mom, I look like a salad!”
“You look like a princess having her spa day,” Mom corrected, smiling.
After the final rinse, Lala’s hair was shiny and soft. She spun around in front of the mirror, striking funny poses. “Ta-da! The most beautiful monkey in the world!” she announced dramatically.
Mom shook her head, laughing. “You are definitely the silliest customer I’ve ever had.”
Lala giggled, hugging Mom tightly. “Best salon ever!”
