Dad went to the island to visit Monkey Kaka despite the bad weather

The sky was filled with dark clouds, and the wind howled through the trees as heavy raindrops splattered against the ground. Most people would have stayed indoors, waiting for the storm to pass. But Dad wasn’t like most people—he had made a promise to visit Monkey Kaka on the island, and he wasn’t going to let bad weather stop him.

As he boarded the small boat, the waves rocked it back and forth, making the journey feel even longer than usual. Rain soaked his clothes, and the cold wind stung his face, but he gripped the sides of the boat tightly, focused on reaching the shore where Kaka was waiting.

When he finally arrived, he called out, “Kaka!” His voice was almost drowned out by the rustling trees and the sound of rain hitting the leaves. For a moment, there was silence—then, a familiar figure appeared from the branches. It was Kaka!

Despite the gloomy weather, Monkey Kaka’s eyes lit up the moment she saw Dad. She quickly climbed down from the tree and ran toward him, wrapping her tiny arms around his hand in excitement. It didn’t matter to her that it was raining—what mattered was that Dad had come, just as he always did.

They found shelter under a thick canopy of leaves, where Dad pulled out a small treat he had brought for Kaka. She eagerly took it, munching happily as she sat close to him. Even with the storm raging around them, this moment felt warm and peaceful.

As the rain began to slow, Dad knew it was time to leave. He gently patted Kaka’s head, promising to return soon. Kaka let out a soft chirp, as if telling him to be careful on his way back.

The journey home was just as rough, but Dad didn’t mind. Seeing Kaka, even for a short while, made everything worth it. Their bond was stronger than any storm, and no amount of bad weather could ever change that.
