Lala’s first experience with yoga and healthy eating!

One bright morning, Mom decided it was the perfect day to introduce Lala to something new. “Today, we’re going to try yoga and eat healthy together!” Mom announced with a big smile.

Lala tilted her head curiously. “Yoga? What’s that? Is it like dancing?” she asked. Mom chuckled. “Kind of—it’s about stretching, breathing, and relaxing your body. It helps us stay strong and calm.”

Excited, Lala rolled out a little mat beside Mom’s. They began with simple poses. Mom demonstrated, “Raise your arms high like a tree.” Lala lifted her arms but wobbled a little, giggling. “My tree is shaking in the wind, Mom!” she laughed.

Next, they tried sitting cross-legged, closing their eyes, and breathing deeply. “Inhale… exhale…” Mom guided. Lala followed, though she peeked with one eye open. “Mom, I feel like I’m floating!” she whispered, enjoying the calm.

After the yoga session, Mom brought out a tray of colorful, healthy food. There were fresh fruit slices, crunchy vegetables, and a small bowl of tofu salad. “Healthy eating gives us energy after yoga,” Mom explained.

At first, Lala eyed the veggies with suspicion. “Do I really have to eat the green ones?” she asked. Mom smiled gently. “Just try a little. You might be surprised.” Lala took a tiny bite of cucumber, then munched on a piece of apple. “Hey, this actually tastes good!” she exclaimed.

They ended the morning sharing a bowl of yogurt topped with peanuts and honey. Lala clapped her hands. “Yoga and healthy food make me feel strong and happy!”

Mom hugged her proudly. “That’s the secret, Lala. A healthy body makes for a joyful heart.”

And from that day, Lala’s mornings became brighter with yoga and wholesome meals by Mom’s side.
