Monkey Kaka quickly called mom when monkey Mit choked on milk

The jungle was calm that morning, with the golden sun peeking through the dense canopy and a light breeze rustling the leaves. Monkey Kaka sat on a low-hanging branch, watching her baby brother, Mit, as he eagerly drank his milk. He was always in a hurry when it came to feeding time, his tiny hands gripping tightly as he gulped down every drop.

But then, something went wrong.

Mit suddenly stopped drinking and let out a weak cough. His little body tensed, and his eyes widened in panic. He was choking!

Kaka’s heart raced. She had never seen him like this before. Without thinking twice, she jumped to her feet and shouted, “Mom! Mom! Come quick!”

Mama Monkey, who had been gathering food nearby, immediately recognized the alarm in Kaka’s voice. She swung swiftly through the branches, reaching them in seconds. Seeing Mit struggling, she acted without hesitation. Gently but firmly, she picked him up and turned him slightly forward, patting his tiny back in a soothing but urgent motion.

After a tense moment, Mit coughed again—this time, a stronger, clearer sound. A small drop of milk dribbled from his mouth, and he let out a shaky breath. His wide eyes softened as he clung to Mama, his little body relaxing.

Kaka let out a sigh of relief, her tiny hands trembling. “Is he okay?” she asked, her voice still shaky.

Mama Monkey nodded, hugging both of them close. “Yes, Kaka. Thanks to you, I got here in time.” She kissed Kaka’s forehead. “You were very brave.”

Kaka smiled, feeling proud but also realizing how fragile her baby brother was. From that day on, she kept a closer eye on Mit, making sure he drank his milk slowly.

The jungle was full of dangers, but as long as they had each other, Kaka knew they would always be safe.
