Lala and Mom go for a walk watch the warm sunset and enjoy fruit!

The day was slowly coming to an end when Mom called out to Lala, “Let’s go for a walk, sweetheart. The sunset is beautiful today.” Excited, Lala quickly slipped on her sandals and grabbed a small basket of fruit Mom had prepared.

The two walked side by side along the quiet path. The evening breeze was gentle, carrying the scent of grass and flowers. Lala swung her basket cheerfully as she asked, “Mom, do you think the sun gets tired after shining all day?” Mom chuckled. “Maybe, that’s why it slowly goes to sleep in the west.”

As they reached the top of a small hill, the view opened up before them. The sky was painted in shades of orange, pink, and purple. Lala’s eyes widened with wonder. “Wow, Mom, it looks like a giant painting!” she exclaimed. They sat down on the soft grass, enjoying the warm glow on their faces.

Mom opened the basket and brought out fresh fruit—juicy slices of watermelon, sweet bananas, and crisp apples. Lala eagerly took a slice of watermelon, biting into it with a happy crunch. “Mmm, it’s so sweet! The sunset makes it taste even better,” she said with a giggle, juice dripping down her chin.

Bon wasn’t there this time, so Lala felt extra special sharing the moment just with Mom. They laughed, told stories, and pointed out funny shapes in the clouds as the sun sank lower and lower.

When the last bit of sunlight disappeared behind the hills, Lala leaned against Mom and whispered, “This was the most peaceful evening ever.”

Mom kissed her forehead and smiled. “As long as we enjoy it together, every sunset will be beautiful.”

Hand in hand, they walked home with hearts full of warmth.
