Lala is so surprised that she can’t stop eating because of the delicious taste of canacota!

One sunny afternoon, Mom brought out a tray from the refrigerator. On it were small glass cups filled with a creamy dessert that shimmered in the light. “Lala,” Mom said with a smile, “I made panna cotta today. Want to try?”

Lala’s eyes widened in curiosity. She had never tasted it before. Carefully, she picked up a spoon and scooped out a soft, wobbly bite. The moment it touched her tongue, her eyes grew even bigger.

“Wow! Mom!” she exclaimed. “This is… AMAZING!” The panna cotta was silky smooth, gently sweet, and melted like magic in her mouth. She quickly took another spoonful. Then another. And another.

Before she realized it, the first cup was empty. Lala stared at it in shock. “I finished already?!” She immediately reached for the second cup. Mom laughed. “Careful, little chef, leave some for later.”

But Lala shook her head. “I can’t stop! It’s too delicious!” She gobbled spoonful after spoonful, her cheeks puffing like a squirrel. The cool, creamy dessert made her giggle with joy.

Bon peeked into the kitchen and saw Lala devouring the panna cotta. “Save some for me!” he shouted, running to grab a cup. Lala quickly hugged the tray. “Nooo, these are mine!” she said playfully, though her smile gave her away.

Mom chuckled at the sight of the two squabbling over dessert. “Don’t worry,” she said, “there’s plenty for everyone.”

At last, Lala leaned back with a happy sigh, her tummy full and her face glowing with satisfaction. “Mom,” she said dreamily, “panna cotta is the yummiest thing in the whole world. Can we make it every day?”

Mom smiled, stroking her head. “Maybe not every day—but I’m glad you love it this much.”
