It was a calm afternoon, and Lala was quietly playing with her toys in the living room. Suddenly, she heard a soft thump followed by the sound of something crashing. She peeked around the corner and gasped—Siba the cat was at it again!
Siba had climbed onto the kitchen counter, pawing at a fruit basket. One by one, apples rolled onto the floor. “Siba! You’re making a mess!” Lala shouted, running in. But the mischievous cat only flicked his tail and leapt onto the shelf, eyeing a vase.
Lala’s eyes widened. “Oh no, not Mom’s favorite vase!” she cried. She rushed over and stretched out her arms just in time to catch it before it fell. Siba meowed proudly, as if it were all part of his game.
Determined to protect the house, Lala devised a plan. She gently scooped Siba up and placed him on a soft blanket in the corner. “You stay here and play with your toys,” she said, handing him a ball of yarn. At first, Siba batted at the yarn with curiosity, but soon he darted off again—this time toward the curtains.
Lala dashed forward and spread her arms like a superhero. “Not today, Siba!” she declared. She distracted him with a jingling bell, guiding him away from the curtains before they could tear.
By the time Mom walked in, Lala stood proudly in the middle of the room, with Siba finally curled up asleep on his blanket. The house was safe, thanks to her quick thinking.
Mom smiled and hugged her. “My brave little protector. You saved the day!”
Lala beamed. She wasn’t just a little monkey—she was the guardian of their home against the silly tricks of Siba the cat.
