One bright morning, Mom asked Lala to come along on a little trip. Lala was curious but didn’t question it—she knew Mom loved surprises. They rode quietly, passing fields, trees, and small shops, until finally the car stopped in front of a beautiful white gate decorated with flowers.
“Where are we, Mom?” Lala asked, her eyes wide with wonder.
Mom just smiled and took her hand. “Come, you’ll see.”
As they walked through the gate, a lovely house appeared. Its roof gleamed in the sunlight, the walls were freshly painted, and a little garden bloomed with roses and marigolds. Lala gasped. “Wow, this place is amazing!”
Mom handed her a shiny key. “Lala, this is our new home. I’ve been saving for years to give us a better life. This house is for you—to grow, to laugh, and to dream.”
For a moment, Lala couldn’t speak. Her eyes filled with tears of joy. “Really, Mom? This is ours?”
“Yes,” Mom said warmly. “All ours.”
Together, they stepped inside. The living room was cozy, with big windows that filled the space with sunlight. The kitchen smelled of fresh paint, waiting for their first meal together. But the best surprise was Lala’s new bedroom—painted in her favorite pastel colors, with a window looking out at the garden.
Lala threw her arms around Mom. “This is the best gift ever! Thank you, Mom.”
Mom hugged her tightly. “Your happiness is my greatest reward.”
That evening, they sat on the porch watching the sunset. The house wasn’t just made of bricks and wood—it was built with Mom’s love and dreams. Lala knew that in this new home, every day would feel brighter.
