Lala suddenly had a high fever and stopped eating, making Mom worried!

It was a quiet morning, but something didn’t feel right.

Lala, who usually woke up with a bright smile and wagging tail, lay still in her bed. Her eyes looked tired, her little nose was warm, and when Mom called her name gently, she barely moved.

Concerned, Mom quickly rushed over and touched Lala’s forehead—it was burning hot.

A high fever had come on suddenly.

Even more worrying, Lala refused her favorite breakfast. Not even a taste of the dish CEO Kien had made with love could tempt her. She just turned her head away and whimpered softly.

Mom’s heart sank.

She wrapped Lala in a soft blanket and cradled her gently, whispering, “It’s okay, my baby. I’m here.” She placed a cold towel on Lala’s head and called the doctor immediately.

The house, usually filled with laughter and little footsteps, fell silent. Bon and Ni peeked in quietly, their faces full of concern. Even the birds outside seemed to chirp more softly, as if they too were wishing Lala a speedy recovery.

The doctor arrived and examined Lala carefully. “It’s likely a viral fever,” he said. “She needs rest, love, and care.”

And that’s exactly what she got.

Mom never left her side. She stayed up all night, cooling Lala’s forehead, whispering soothing words, and gently feeding her warm soup, spoon by spoon.

By the next morning, Lala’s fever began to drop, and a soft wag of her tail returned.

It was a long, emotional day—but love never left her side. And little by little, Lala began to feel like herself again.

Because in the hardest moments, a mother’s love is the most powerful medicine of all.
