Lala is worried when she sees the windshield panels are stolen!

It was supposed to be a peaceful morning. The sun had just risen, casting a soft golden light over the yard as Lala stretched, yawned, and made her usual round outside the house. But something didn’t feel right.

As she trotted toward the garage, her steps slowed. Her ears perked up and her tail stopped wagging. The large windshield panels that had just been delivered last week—set aside carefully for a home repair—were missing.

Lala froze.

She sniffed the ground anxiously, walked around in circles, and looked toward the gate, her eyes full of confusion. Had someone taken them? Where did they go?

CEO Kien had told her how important they were for fixing the windows before the rainy season. Lala remembered how excited he was about making the house safer and more beautiful. Now, all that work seemed at risk.

Lala ran to the porch where Mom Lan Anh was sipping her morning tea. She barked—not the playful kind, but the alert, serious bark that meant “Something’s wrong!”

Surprised, Mom stood up and followed Lala to the garage. Her eyes widened in shock when she saw the empty spot.

Soon, CEO Kien arrived. Lala sat beside him, looking up with worried eyes, as if silently asking, “What do we do now?” He knelt down, gave her a reassuring pat, and said, “Thank you for letting us know, Lala. You’re such a smart girl.”

Though the situation was upsetting, Lala’s quick thinking brought comfort to the family. They called the proper authorities, and neighbors came together offering help and support.

Even in worry, Lala showed her loyalty and care.

Because a home isn’t just walls and windows—it’s the hearts that protect it.
