CEO Kien immediately returned home when he heard that Lala’s eyes had serious problems!

The moment the call came through, CEO Kien froze.

He had just wrapped up a long meeting when he heard the words: “Lala’s eyes… it’s serious.”

His heart dropped.

Without a second thought, he stood up, canceled all his remaining appointments, and rushed to the airport. Nothing mattered more than getting home to Lala.

As the car sped through the streets and the plane soared through the sky, all Kien could think about was her little face—those bright, expressive eyes that always lit up when she saw him. Now clouded. In pain.

Hours later, as he stepped into the house, the silence felt heavy. But in the quiet room, there she was—Lala, wrapped in a blanket, curled up with Bon and Ni by her side. Her eyes barely opened, but she immediately recognized the sound of his footsteps.

“Lala…” he called softly, voice trembling.

She turned slowly, and when she realized it was him, her tail gave the faintest wag. Her body was weak, but her heart knew—Dad came back.

Kien dropped to his knees beside her, gently stroking her head. “I’m here, baby girl. I’m so sorry I wasn’t with you sooner.”

Tears welled in his eyes as he held her close. Mom Lan Anh stood nearby, her eyes red from worry but relieved to see them together.

That night, Kien stayed by Lala’s side, refusing to sleep. He helped apply her medicine, spoke softly to her, and let her rest in his lap like old times.

Lala, feeling his warmth, closed her eyes in comfort. Her world might still be blurry—but with CEO Kien back, her heart felt clear again.

Because no matter how far he goes, he’ll always return when she needs him most.
