Lala doesn’t like oranges so she asked Mom to harvest guava to make juice!

It was a sunny afternoon, and Mom Lan Anh was in the kitchen squeezing fresh oranges for juice. The citrusy aroma filled the room, but little Lala wrinkled her nose and tilted her head in protest.

She took one sip… and puckered her lips immediately. Nope! That sour taste just wasn’t for her.

With a playful pout, Lala tugged gently at Mom’s sleeve and pointed her paw toward the backyard. “Let’s go harvest guavas instead!” she seemed to say, eyes wide with hope.

Mom laughed, “You really don’t like oranges, huh?” Lala shook her head with dramatic flair, making Mom giggle even more.

So off they went, basket in hand, into the garden.

Lala bounced happily through the grass, guiding Mom straight to the guava tree. The fruit was perfectly ripe—green on the outside, soft pink inside, and bursting with sweetness. Lala watched eagerly as Mom picked a few and carried them inside.

Back in the kitchen, Mom washed and chopped the guavas while Lala sat patiently, tail wagging with excitement. They blended the fruit with a bit of honey and chilled water, and just like that—fresh guava juice was ready!

Mom poured it into a small cup and handed it to Lala. She took a big sip… and her eyes sparkled with joy!

“Much better than oranges!” her expression seemed to shout.

Mom took a sip too and nodded. “You have good taste, little one.”

Together, they clinked their cups in a toast and shared a quiet moment of refreshment and laughter.

It wasn’t just about juice—it was about understanding each other, sharing preferences, and turning a simple drink into a sweet memory.

Because when it comes to love, even fruit choices matter!
