For days, something hadn’t felt right.
Lala wasn’t her usual cheerful self. She wasn’t eating much, barely played, and spent more time curled up in the corner, her eyes dull and body still. CEO Kien noticed it all—every small change, every sigh, every glance that seemed to say, “Something hurts.”
He didn’t wait another day.
Early that morning, he gently wrapped Lala in a soft blanket and whispered, “Let’s find out what’s wrong, okay?” She didn’t resist. Her body leaned into his chest, trusting, even though her energy was low.
At the hospital, the atmosphere was calm but serious. Kien held Lala close in the waiting room, whispering soothing words while doctors prepared for a full examination—blood tests, scans, and a careful physical check.
“She’s been unusually quiet,” Kien explained. “We don’t know what’s hurting her. Please find out.”
The team nodded with understanding and care. As they took Lala into the exam room, Kien stood at the door, hand resting on the frame, watching with worried eyes.
Hours passed.
When the vet returned, she spoke gently: “We’ve run full tests. There’s no major injury, but she does have inflammation in her joints, likely early arthritis or muscle strain. With rest, care, and treatment, she’ll recover.”
Kien exhaled deeply, eyes misting with relief. “Thank you.”
He brought Lala home, tucked her into her bed, and sat beside her for hours, stroking her fur. He prepared a special warm meal and gently gave her medicine with her favorite fruit purée.
That night, Lala slept peacefully for the first time in days—her dad nearby, her pain finally understood.
Because love means listening when no words are spoken… and fighting quietly for the ones who can’t ask for help.
