Lala went to the hospital for a checkup because her hand hurt!

Lala had been unusually quiet all morning. Normally full of energy, she was now limping slightly, holding her front paw close and avoiding any playful steps. CEO Kien noticed right away—her ears were down, and her eyes held that gentle look of worry.

“What’s wrong, sweetheart?” he asked, kneeling beside her.

She whimpered softly as he gently touched her paw. No swelling, but clearly something wasn’t right.

Without hesitation, Kien called the vet. “We’re coming in now. She’s in pain.”

At the animal hospital, Lala sat quietly in the waiting room, wrapped in her favorite blanket. Bibi held her gently while Kien filled out the forms. Strangers passed by, but Lala kept her eyes fixed on the door—brave, but nervous.

When it was their turn, the vet examined her carefully. Lala flinched at the touch but stayed calm, trusting the soft voices and gentle hands around her.

“Good girl,” Kien whispered, stroking her head.

After a full checkup and an X-ray, the vet smiled kindly. “It’s a mild sprain. No fracture. She likely twisted it while running.”

The relief on Kien’s face was instant.

“She just needs rest, a wrap for support, and some pain medicine,” the vet added. “She’ll be back to normal in no time.”

Back home, Kien carried Lala in his arms like royalty. He made her a soft meal, gave her medicine, and gently wrapped her paw. Lala, though tired, wagged her tail weakly, feeling safe again.

That night, she fell asleep on Kien’s chest, paw bandaged, heart full.

Because sometimes being strong means asking for help—and sometimes, love means dropping everything when someone you care about is hurting.
