Lala is surprised and happy to see Mom Lan Anh again after many days apart!

It had been many days since Lala last saw Mom Lan Anh. The house had been quiet without her—too quiet. Though CEO Kien and Bibi gave Lala plenty of love and care, nothing could quite replace the gentle warmth of Mom Lan Anh’s hugs, or the way she softly called, “Lala, con ơi…” from the kitchen.

Lala waited each evening by the gate, ears perked, eyes hopeful. But every time, it was someone else. The scent she missed never came.

Until today.

It was just after lunch when the front door opened—and there she was.

Lan Anh stood in the doorway, suitcase still in hand, her eyes wide with surprise—and then joy—as she spotted the little one frozen mid-step.

“Lala!!”

For a moment, Lala didn’t move. Her brain took a second to catch up to her heart. But when it did, she burst into motion—tail wagging like a storm, paws racing across the tiles, ears flying as she ran into Mom Lan Anh’s arms.

Lan Anh dropped her bag and knelt down, scooping Lala up into a tight embrace. “My baby girl… I missed you so much.”

Lala whimpered with happiness, nuzzling into her chest, licking her face in excited bursts between soft cries. Her heart was racing, but it finally felt whole again.

CEO Kien peeked around the corner and smiled. “She waited for you every day.”

Lan Anh looked down at Lala, tears forming in her eyes. “And now I’m home.”

That evening, Lala never left her side. She curled by her feet, followed her from room to room, and even lay beside her on the couch, heart full.

Because when someone you love returns, it’s not just a reunion.

It’s coming home.
