Lala is worried because she pees the bed after having trouble from swimming!

After a long, playful swim in the afternoon sun, Lala had curled up in her soft bed, tired and content. The day had been full of splashes, laughter, and special moments—but her little body, still adjusting to the activity, had worked harder than it let on.

In the middle of the night, something unexpected happened.

Lala shifted in her sleep, then froze. Her bed felt damp. Her heart began to race.

She had peed in her sleep.

The moment she realized, Lala sat up, eyes wide and ears lowered. She looked around, guilt creeping in like a shadow. She didn’t mean to. She had tried so hard to be a good girl. But her body had been tired, and sometimes, things just… happen.

She stayed frozen, ashamed and unsure—until the door creaked open and soft footsteps approached.

“Lala?” Mom’s voice was gentle, still sleepy.

One glance at Lala’s worried eyes and the damp blanket was all she needed to understand.

“Oh, sweetie…”

But there was no scolding. No harsh voice. No blame.

Mom walked over and knelt beside her, pulling her into a warm hug despite the mess. “It’s okay, baby. You’re not in trouble. You just had a little accident.”

She cleaned Lala with gentle hands, replaced the wet bedding with fresh blankets, and wrapped her in a soft towel. As Mom wiped her tears—yes, Lala had cried a little—she whispered, “You swam a lot today. Your body just got tired. It’s not your fault.”

Wrapped up and comforted, Lala finally rested her head again, heart slowly settling. She knew, in that moment, that love wasn’t about being perfect.

It was about being understood—even when things go wrong.
