It was a bright and beautiful morning—the kind of day that promises adventure. Lala woke up feeling extra cheerful, and when she found out that she and Lu were going to the park, she clapped her hands with joy. “Yay! Park time!” she shouted, waking Lu from his nap.
Lu stretched and smiled, already excited to play. The two little buddies quickly got ready. Thuy packed a small picnic bag with snacks, water, and some toys, and off they went!
As soon as they arrived at the park, Lala and Lu ran toward the grassy field. The trees swayed gently in the breeze, and birds chirped happily above. Everything felt fresh, fun, and full of life.
Lala found a colorful slide and couldn’t wait to go down. “Wheee!” she laughed as she slid to the bottom. Lu followed right after, landing with a soft thump and a big smile. They took turns again and again, squealing with happiness.
Next, they ran to the flower garden. Lala pointed out red roses, yellow daisies, and purple lavender. Lu bent down to sniff a flower and accidentally got pollen on his nose—making Lala laugh until her cheeks turned red.
The playground was filled with even more fun. They climbed on the jungle gym, balanced on a beam, and played peekaboo behind the big trees. Their laughter echoed all around the park.
After all the running and jumping, Thuy called them over to rest under a tree. She handed them fruit slices and cool water. Lala shared her apple with Lu, and Lu gave her a piece of his banana in return. It was a sweet, quiet moment between two best friends.
As the sun began to set, they both lay on the grass, looking at the clouds and pointing out funny shapes—one looked like a fish, another like a heart.
