Mischievous Lala gets into trouble for breaking the lotus vase while playing!

It was a peaceful morning in the house, with sunlight softly glowing through the curtains. Lala, full of energy as always, had finished her breakfast and was ready for some fun. Thuy was folding laundry nearby, reminding Lala gently, “Be careful when you play, okay? Don’t run near the table.”

Lala nodded sweetly, but her curious little eyes had already wandered. She spotted a colorful ball sitting under the sofa and decided to chase after it. As she rolled it across the room, giggling to herself, it suddenly bounced toward the table where Thuy’s beautiful lotus vase stood.

Without thinking, Lala darted after it. Her hand hit the table leg, and CRASH!

The soft sound of water splashing and ceramic breaking filled the room.

Lala froze.

The lotus vase—a gift from Thuy’s mother and one of her most treasured decorations—lay shattered on the floor, lotus petals scattered across the tiles. Lala’s eyes widened in shock, and she instantly felt her tummy tighten. She knew she had made a big mistake.

Thuy turned around quickly, her face going from surprise to sadness. “Oh no… Lala,” she said softly, kneeling down to pick up the broken pieces. Lala’s little lips quivered, and tears began to form in her eyes. “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to,” she whispered.

Seeing how sorry and scared Lala looked, Thuy sighed and pulled her into a gentle hug. “I know you didn’t mean to, but it’s important to listen when I ask you to be careful,” she said. Lala nodded and wiped her tears.

To help make things right, Thuy handed Lala a small broom and dustpan. Together, they cleaned up the broken vase, and Lala promised to be more mindful when playing indoors.

Later that day, Thuy gave Lala a paper and some crayons. “Let’s draw a new lotus vase together,” she said with a smile.

And just like that, a little mischief turned into a big lesson—about responsibility, love, and always learning from our mistakes.
