Lala is sad and confused when Lu refuses to play with her!

It was a bright and cheerful morning, and little Lala woke up full of excitement. Today, she had a fun plan in mind—she wanted to play with her favorite friend, Lu. Lala picked out her cutest dress, brushed her fur nicely, and even brought along her favorite toys to share. She was ready for a fun day of games and laughter.

When she finally saw Lu near the garden, Lala ran over with a big smile. “Lu! Let’s play hide and seek or jump rope!” she cheered. But instead of joining in, Lu looked away quietly and said, “Not now, Lala. I don’t feel like playing.”

Lala’s happy face slowly faded into a frown. “Did I do something wrong?” she whispered to herself. She stood there holding her toys, unsure of what to do. Her heart felt heavy and her eyes started to well up with tears. Lala didn’t understand why Lu, her best friend, didn’t want to play today.

She sat under a tree, looking at the toys she brought, feeling both sad and confused. Thuy noticed Lala sitting alone and walked over gently. “What’s wrong, Lala?” she asked softly. Lala explained everything, her voice shaky and her eyes teary.

Thuy hugged her and smiled kindly. “Sometimes, our friends have their own feelings and problems too. Maybe Lu is tired, or maybe something is bothering him. It’s not your fault.”

That helped Lala feel a little better. Later in the day, Lu came back and sat beside her. “I’m sorry, Lala,” he said. “I was just feeling a bit sad today, but it wasn’t about you.” Lala smiled gently and gave him a big hug. “It’s okay, Lu. I’m here for you.”

The two friends promised to always talk and understand each other. Lala learned that sometimes, being a good friend means being patient—and that true friends always come back.
