Lala is curious and mischievous plays with the loach fish!

One sunny afternoon, Lala’s endless curiosity led her on another adorable adventure. Thuy had just come back from the market, and among the fresh vegetables and fruits was a small plastic container filled with loach fish—slippery, wiggly little creatures meant for dinner. But before Thuy could even unpack, Lala’s sharp eyes spotted the container and immediately became fascinated.

As Thuy stepped away to prepare the kitchen, Lala tiptoed closer to the bucket, her eyes wide with excitement and mischief. “What are these little swimmers doing here?” she whispered to herself. With one tiny finger, she poked at the water, giggling as the loaches darted around in surprise. Their quick movements only made her more eager to play.

Not content with just looking, Lala gently scooped one up with both hands. It wriggled and slipped around in her palm, sending her into a fit of giggles. “You’re so slippery! Like jelly!” she exclaimed, trying to hold on as the loach flipped back into the bucket.

She sat down beside the container, completely absorbed, watching the fish swim in circles. She tried naming them—“This one is Wiggles, and that one is Dash!” she declared proudly. Every time a loach splashed a bit of water out, Lala squealed in delight and clapped her hands. Her mischievous nature was on full display as she tried to ‘teach’ them to jump, though all they did was swim faster.

When Thuy returned and saw what was happening, she couldn’t help but laugh. “Lala! Those are for dinner, not playtime!” she said, gently scooping Lala up and drying her wet hands. Lala pouted but quickly smiled when Thuy promised they could watch the fish together—just no more trying to hold them!

That afternoon turned into a sweet lesson for both of them. For Lala, it was about respecting living things. For Thuy, it was a reminder of Lala’s pure-hearted wonder. Even the smallest fish could become a magical playmate in the hands of a curious little girl.
