It was a warm afternoon, and the sun was shining brightly, making it the perfect day for a swim. Lala, always full of energy and curious ideas, had her eyes set on the colorful swimming ball sitting near the edge of the pool. Thuy, busy preparing snacks inside, had told Lala to wait until she came out to swim together. But little Lala had other plans!
With a cheeky smile on her face and a glint of mischief in her eyes, Lala tiptoed away from the doorway and quietly picked up the ball. She looked around, made sure Thuy wasn’t watching, and then darted off toward the pool like a little ninja on a mission. Holding the ball tightly, she giggled as she made her way to the shallow end, her heart racing with excitement.
She gently placed the ball in the water and hopped in after it. Splash! The water welcomed her with a cool hug, and she floated happily, kicking and paddling while hugging her ball. Lala laughed and spun in circles, completely immersed in her secret adventure.
But the fun didn’t stay hidden for long. Thuy soon noticed that Lala was gone and rushed outside, only to find her splashing in the pool, looking as proud as ever. At first, Thuy was surprised — then she couldn’t help but laugh. There was Lala, soaked and smiling, waving her arms like a champion swimmer.
“Lala! You little rascal!” Thuy called out with a mix of amusement and love. Lala floated closer with her ball, giving her best innocent look. Thuy shook her head and joined her, keeping a close eye as they continued to play together.
Though Lala broke the rules, her joy was contagious. That afternoon turned into one of laughter, bonding, and sweet memories — all starting from one sneaky swim with a beloved ball.
