Diem cried when she saw that Monkey Kaka’s place had strong winds

Diem has always shared a special connection with Monkey Kaka, treating him not just like a pet, but like a little brother. So when she saw on the news that strong winds were sweeping through the area where Kaka lives, her heart immediately filled with worry. Her eyes widened with fear, and before anyone could comfort her, tears started rolling down her cheeks.

Diem couldn’t help but imagine Kaka out there in the wild, his fur being blown by the harsh winds, maybe cold, maybe afraid, or even looking around wondering when his loved ones would come for him. “Is Kaka safe?” she asked repeatedly, her voice trembling with emotion. Her parents tried to soothe her, reassuring her that Kaka is clever and strong, and he likely found a safe place to stay out of the wind.

Still, the thought of her dear monkey friend facing such tough weather was too much for Diem. She sat by the window, holding a picture of her and Kaka, quietly hoping he could feel her love and concern from far away. She even packed a small blanket and snacks into a bag, telling her mom that if she could, she’d go bring them to Kaka herself.

To help calm her down, Diem’s father made a video call to the caretaker near Kaka’s location. Seeing Kaka safe and sound, sitting in his little shelter and munching on some fruit, brought instant relief to Diem. She smiled through her tears and waved at the screen, whispering, “I was so scared for you.”

This moment showed just how deep Diem’s bond is with Monkey Kaka. It’s more than friendship—it’s pure, unconditional love. No matter how far apart they are, their hearts remain closely connected. And even a gust of wind can’t blow away that kind of devotion.
