Lala feels bad and worried after breaking the statue and Mom comforts her!

It was a quiet afternoon when Lala wandered into the living room, curious as always. On the shelf stood a beautiful statue that Mom cherished dearly. Lala reached out carefully, wanting to take a closer look. But as she lifted it, her little hands slipped. Crash! The statue fell to the floor, breaking into pieces.

Lala froze. Her eyes widened, her heart raced, and tears welled up. She knew how much Mom loved that statue. Feeling scared and guilty, she sat down on the floor, staring at the broken pieces, whispering, “Oh no… what did I do?”

Mom hurried into the room after hearing the noise. She saw the statue and then Lala’s tearful face. Instead of getting angry, Mom knelt down beside her. “Lala, are you okay? Did you get hurt?” she asked gently, checking her hands. Lala shook her head, but her voice trembled. “I didn’t mean to, Mom… I’m so sorry. I broke it.”

Mom smiled softly and pulled Lala into a hug. “Statues can be replaced, my dear. But you are more important than anything else. I’m just glad you’re safe.”

Lala sniffled, burying her face in Mom’s shoulder. “You’re not mad?” she asked. Mom shook her head. “Accidents happen. What matters is learning to be careful next time.”

Together, they cleaned up the broken pieces, and Mom reassured her again, “See? It’s not so bad. We can even make something new in its place.”

Relieved, Lala’s tears turned into a small smile. She hugged Mom tighter, realizing that love and comfort were far stronger than mistakes. That evening, Lala felt safe and understood, knowing Mom’s care would always be there—even when things went wrong.
