The sun peeked gently over the horizon as Lala, Mom, and Bon arrived at the picnic spot. The grassy field was fresh with morning dew, and the sound of chirping birds filled the air. Lala spread out the colorful picnic blanket while Bon helped Mom unpack the basket.
“Wow, look at all the food!” Lala exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement. Inside were sandwiches, boiled eggs, bananas, fresh milk, and even a small jar of honey. The air smelled of sweet fruit and warm bread.
Mom handed everyone a plate. “Let’s eat slowly and enjoy this peaceful morning,” she said warmly.
Lala took a big bite of her sandwich and sighed happily. “Mmm… Mom, this is so delicious! The bread is soft, and the eggs taste perfect.” Bon, sitting cross-legged beside her, was already munching on a banana, his cheeks puffed like a chipmunk.
“Bon, slow down!” Lala giggled. “It’s not a race!”
Mom laughed and poured them cups of milk. Together, they clinked their cups like it was a toast. “To our picnic breakfast!” Lala cheered, her smile shining as bright as the morning sun.
After eating, they lay back on the blanket, enjoying the cool breeze. Lala pointed to the sky. “Look, the clouds look like animals! That one is a rabbit!” Bon squinted and shouted, “I see a monkey!” They all burst into laughter.
The breakfast wasn’t fancy, but it was filled with warmth, laughter, and togetherness. With her tummy full and her heart happy, Lala leaned against Mom and whispered, “This is the best morning ever.”
Mom hugged both Lala and Bon close. “Because we’re together, everything tastes better.”
And so, their chill breakfast at the picnic spot became a memory they would always treasure.
