After a long morning at the hospital for her general check-up and X-ray, Lala felt both relieved and a little hungry. Mom smiled and said, “You were so brave today, Lala. Let’s celebrate with a nice breakfast.”
They walked into a beautiful restaurant nearby. The air smelled of fresh coffee, warm bread, and sweet fruit. Soft music played in the background, and the tables were decorated with flowers. Lala’s eyes grew wide—this was no ordinary breakfast!
A waiter greeted them kindly and handed them the menu. Lala scanned the pages, amazed at the choices: pancakes with honey, omelets with cheese, fresh fruit platters, and warm croissants. “Wow, Mom, everything looks so fancy!” she whispered.
Mom laughed softly. “Pick what you like, sweetheart. Today is your special treat.”
Soon, their table was filled with colorful dishes. Lala’s plate had golden pancakes topped with strawberries, whipped cream, and a drizzle of chocolate. Next to it was a glass of fresh orange juice that sparkled in the sunlight.
She took her first bite, and her face lit up. “Mmm! This is the most delicious pancake ever!” she exclaimed. Mom enjoyed her own breakfast while smiling at Lala’s excitement.
Between bites, Lala sipped her juice and looked around at the elegant restaurant. She felt grown-up, like a little princess having a royal meal.
When they finished, Lala leaned back happily. “Mom, going to the doctor wasn’t scary at all—and now I even got the best breakfast ever!”
Mom kissed her forehead. “That’s because you were brave, Lala. You deserved it.”
With a full tummy and a happy heart, Lala left the restaurant, skipping beside her mom, already dreaming of their next special outing together.
