Lala took the blanket and pillow and hid from Mom to sleep in the new bed!

It was a quiet afternoon when Mom Lan Anh noticed something odd—Lala’s blanket and favorite little pillow were missing from her usual nap spot. The corner bed by the window was empty, and Lala was nowhere in sight.

“Lala?” Mom called softly.

No answer.

She checked under the table. Behind the sofa. Even peeked in the laundry basket. Still no sign of the little rascal.

Just as Mom was about to give up, she heard a tiny sneeze and a soft rustle coming from the guest room.

She opened the door quietly—and there she was!

Lala had snuck into the room, carefully dragging her blanket and pillow all the way across the house. She had set up her own little nest in the brand-new bed that Mom had just assembled that morning. The bed was big, fluffy, and still smelled like fresh fabric. Clearly, Lala thought it was made for her.

Nestled cozily in the center, she looked up at Mom with big, guilty eyes—but her tail wagged ever so slightly.

“Lala! So this is where you’ve been hiding!”

Lala gave a soft bark as if to say, “This is my new favorite place!”

Mom couldn’t help but laugh. “Alright, little princess. You win. But only for one nap!”

With that, Mom gently covered Lala with her blanket and gave her a forehead kiss. Lala sighed in contentment and snuggled into the soft bed, clearly proud of her clever plan.

Sometimes, a cozy blanket, a fluffy pillow, and a little mischief are all it takes for Lala to create her own tiny slice of heaven.
