It started as just another tidy-up morning.
Mom Lan Anh was busy sweeping the living room, humming her favorite song while little dust bunnies hid beneath the couch. Lala, as always, sat nearby watching her mom move from corner to corner with the broom in hand.
But then something unexpected happened.
When Lan Anh stepped away to grab the dustpan, Lala trotted over to the broom—curious, alert, and clearly… planning something.
With her front paw, she gently nudged the broom. Then again. Suddenly, she gripped the bottom bristles with her teeth and began dragging it across the floor—back and forth, back and forth—just like she’d seen Mom do so many times.
It wasn’t perfect, of course. The broom swished in wobbly zigzags. But she was focused, determined, and honestly… doing a pretty good job!
When Lan Anh returned, she froze at the doorway.
“LALA?!”
There she was—sweeping the floor like a tiny housekeeper, tail wagging proudly, completely in her element.
Lan Anh laughed so hard she had to sit down. “You’re sweeping? Since when did you become the cleaning assistant?”
Lala paused, dropped the broom gently, then trotted over for a proud cuddle, clearly expecting praise—and maybe a treat or two.
“You’re not just adorable,” Mom said, scooping her up. “You’re a genius!”
She snapped a photo, instantly sending it to Kien. Moments later, his reply came: “Promote her to Head of Housekeeping immediately.”
That afternoon, Lala got her favorite melon as a reward and a new nickname: Captain Clean Paws.
Because being super smart isn’t just about tricks—it’s about watching, learning, and jumping in to help when no one expects it.
