Lala can’t sleep due to serious eye problems so Kien tries everything to save her eyes!

Late one night, the house was quiet—but Lala wasn’t resting.

She tossed and turned in her bed, her little paws rubbing against her eyes. They were red, swollen, and clearly in pain. She whimpered softly, blinking over and over, trying to find relief—but it wouldn’t come.

Kien, just about to turn off his desk lamp, heard the faint sounds and rushed to her side.

“Lala?” he whispered, kneeling down.

She looked up at him with tearful, blurry eyes. She couldn’t hide it anymore.

His heart dropped.

Without a moment’s hesitation, he scooped her up in his arms. No frustration. No questions. Just urgency. “Hang in there, baby. I’ve got you.”

The night became a whirlwind of care. Kien gently rinsed her eyes with cool saline. He called the vet emergency line, took notes, and searched everything he could find—dry eye? allergic reaction? corneal irritation? He sat beside her all night, carefully applying eye drops every few hours, using a soft cloth to cool her forehead.

Lala couldn’t speak, but the way she leaned into him, trusting him even through the pain—it was all he needed to keep going.

By sunrise, she was exhausted, but calmer. Her eyes still hurt, but the swelling had started to go down. Kien hadn’t slept a second.

When the clinic opened, they rushed in. Exams, scans, careful diagnoses. The vet was hopeful—it wasn’t permanent, but it was serious. With time and care, she would heal.

That night, Lala finally rested—wrapped in Kien’s hoodie, her eyes closed, her breathing slow and peaceful.

Kien watched her, eyes full of love and worry. “I’ll never let anything happen to you,” he whispered.

Because when someone is your whole world, you fight for them—with everything you have.
