Not every day is full of swimming and sunshine—some days, even the happiest souls need a little extra care. Today was one of those days for Lala.
It started with a bit of restlessness. Lala, usually so cheerful, had been shifting uncomfortably in her sleep. When Mom gently checked her, she found it—redness and irritation. A diaper rash.
Her heart ached seeing her little one in discomfort.
“Don’t worry, sweetheart,” Mom whispered softly, lifting Lala into her arms. “We’ll take care of it.”
She placed Lala on a soft blanket and carefully removed her diaper. The rash was tender, but Mom’s hands were gentle. She cleaned the area with warm water and a soft cloth, then patted her dry with the utmost care. Lala whimpered just a little, but she stayed calm, trusting completely in the hands that loved her most.
Next came the healing balm—cool, soothing, and full of relief. Mom applied it gently, talking to Lala in a sweet voice, reassuring her that everything would be okay. She waited a few minutes to let the cream settle before putting on a fresh, breathable diaper.
Then came the snuggles.
Wrapped in a soft towel, Lala lay against Mom’s chest, eyes half-closed, comforted not just by the treatment, but by the love surrounding her. Mom stroked her back slowly, humming a quiet tune only they knew.
Later, Lala was given a light meal and extra hydration—small things, but full of care. Her tail wagged again, just a little, as she curled up for a nap under Mom’s watchful eye.
Because sometimes, love means playtime and laughter—and sometimes, it means quiet comfort, healing hands, and a heart that never stops giving.
