Lala unexpectedly meets CEO Kien again after many days apart

Days turned into weeks, and Lala’s routine shifted. Without her usual weekends with CEO Kien, life felt quieter. Thuy did her best to keep Lala cheerful—daily walks, playful swims, and tender care—but even she could see the flicker of longing in Lala’s eyes when the front gate creaked or a car passed by.

Lala missed him.

She missed the way Kien knelt down in his crisp suit just to pat her head, the quiet moments in the backseat of his sleek car, the late-night snacks he sometimes shared when working late at home. Even if Kien was often busy, to Lala, his presence was steady, grounding—home.

Then, one rainy afternoon, everything changed.

Thuy had taken Lala out for a walk under a shared umbrella, just as the clouds began to clear. They passed a quiet café—and there he was.

CEO Kien. Standing by the window. On the phone. Still serious. Still handsome. Still… him.

Lala froze, her ears perked. Then without warning, she pulled away from Thuy’s gentle grip and darted toward him. Her paws splashed through puddles, her tail wagging wildly.

Kien looked up, and for a moment, even he was stunned. Then he dropped the phone, knelt instinctively, and opened his arms.

“Lala?” he said softly, voice cracking with surprise.

She leapt into his embrace, soaking wet and absolutely overjoyed.

He held her like he never wanted to let go.

In that moment, nothing else mattered—not the days apart, not the unanswered calls, not even the puddles soaking his tailored pants. Lala was back in his arms, and somehow, everything felt right again.
