It was a quiet afternoon in the house, with the soft hum of a fan and birds chirping outside the window. Lala was quietly playing with her building blocks next to the baby’s crib. The baby had just fallen asleep, and everything seemed peaceful—until a sudden tiny whimper came from the bed.
Lala’s ears perked up, and she immediately turned to look. The baby had started to wiggle and cry softly. Curious and concerned, Lala climbed up beside the bed and noticed something strange—the bed sheet had a wet spot!
With her little nose scrunching up and her head tilting, Lala exclaimed, “Uh-oh! Baby pee-pee!”
Instead of panicking, Lala quickly ran to find her mom, who was in the kitchen preparing lunch. “Mom! Mom!” Lala shouted, tugging at her shirt. “The baby peed in bed! Come quick!”
Mom turned in surprise, wiping her hands. “Really? You noticed that?”
Lala nodded proudly, pointing back toward the room. “Yes! Baby needs new diaper!”
Mom followed her into the room and saw exactly what Lala was talking about. With a chuckle and a warm smile, she said, “Good job, Lala! You’re such a smart big sister!”
Together, they gently lifted the baby, changed the diaper, and cleaned the bed. Lala stood close by, handing Mom wipes and the fresh diaper like a little helper. She even tried to fan the baby with a piece of paper to calm him down.
Once everything was clean and fresh, Mom hugged Lala tightly. “Thank you, sweetie. You’re growing up to be so responsible!”
Lala grinned proudly and said, “I help Mommy! I love baby!”
From that day forward, Lala became Mom’s little assistant—always keeping an eye on the baby and proudly reporting anything unusual. Her quick thinking and caring heart made her a true superstar in the house.
