It was a playful afternoon when little Lala found herself in one of her usual mischievous moods. While Thuy was busy cleaning the house, Lala decided to sneak into the backyard to explore. At first, everything seemed fine—until she spotted a flowerpot full of soft soil.
Without hesitation, she plunged her tiny hands into the dirt and began digging like a happy puppy. Soil flew everywhere! Then, she sat down right in the middle of it, getting mud all over her fur, face, and clothes. When Thuy came outside and saw the mess, she gasped. “Lala! What have you done?”
Lala froze and gave her biggest innocent eyes, but it didn’t work this time. She knew she was in trouble.
Thuy sighed, trying not to laugh at the muddy little monkey in front of her. “Come on, young lady. Time for a bath!”
Back inside, Thuy filled the tub with warm water and brought out Lala’s favorite yellow duck toy. Lala sat quietly, knowing she had to be cleaned. As soon as she touched the warm water, her mood brightened. She splashed gently and started giggling.
Thuy lovingly scrubbed the dirt off Lala’s arms, legs, and face. “You silly girl,” she said with a smile. “Always looking for adventure.” She used gentle soap and rinsed her fur carefully, making sure Lala was comfy and clean.
After the bath, Lala was wrapped in a soft towel and given her favorite fruit snack. Thuy even brushed her hair and massaged her tiny hands with lotion. “There you go, all fresh and pretty again,” she whispered, giving Lala a kiss on the forehead.
Lala curled up in Thuy’s lap, clean and content. Even though she had gotten into trouble, she knew she was loved deeply. And from that moment on, she promised—well, almost promised—not to dig in the flowerpots again.
