Lala’s eyes sparkled with excitement when she saw the beautiful new clothes that Thuy had brought home. There were colorful dresses, soft pajamas, and even a tiny sunhat decorated with flowers. She clapped her hands in delight and rushed to try them on right away.
However, as she slipped into the first dress, she quickly realized something was off—it was way too big! The sleeves hung past her hands, and the hem dragged on the floor. She tried to walk, but the fabric tangled around her little legs. Lala paused and looked at herself in the mirror with a puzzled expression. She loved the clothes so much, but they clearly didn’t fit.
Not wanting to give up, Lala waddled over to Thuy and tugged on her sleeve. “Thuy! The dress is too big for me,” she said with a pout. Thuy turned around, smiled warmly, and gently lifted Lala into her lap. “Oh no, my little fashion queen! Let me help you,” she replied, brushing Lala’s hair from her face.
Together, they went through each outfit. Thuy cleverly adjusted the oversized dresses with clips and tiny pins to fit Lala’s frame just right. For some outfits, she tied cute little belts or added ribbons to make them snug and stylish. Lala beamed with pride as each piece began to fit better.
Once everything was adjusted, Thuy set up a mini runway in the living room with music playing in the background. Lala confidently strutted down the “catwalk,” spinning and twirling in her adorable outfits while Thuy and Xuka clapped and cheered.
The fun didn’t stop there. Thuy promised to take the clothes to a tailor so they could be properly resized for Lala. Lala gave her a big hug and whispered, “Thank you, Thuy! Now I can wear them every day!”
It was a joyful day full of creativity, teamwork, and love—showing that even when something doesn’t fit at first, with a little help and heart, anything is possible.
